In 2008, the oil company Cepsa is one of the 35 largest companies in the world in its sector and is among the top ten in Europe by turnover. It is next to the Royal Dutch-Shell Company, the only major European multinational oil that has not had training for public sector involvement. Jason Konior Cepsa group comprises some forty companies around four business areas, refining and distribution of petroleum, petrochemical, research and exploration and gas and electricity. It owns three refineries in Spain, Tenerife (1930), Cadiz (1967) and Huelva (1991). Its productive capacity allows you to process 21,500,000 tons of crude oil per year which represents 35 of Spanish production capacity and 2.7 of the total capacity of the European Union countries.
